More Students on More Courses: a New Marketing System for Administrate

Our listening takes many forms: customer support tickets, customer calls, sales calls, reading industry blogs and industry groups on LinkedIn, and of course meeting face to face. “Help Me Get More Students!”
Through these discussions and our in-depth survey of training companies across the world, we heard one message loud and clear: getting people booked onto courses is one of the main challenges that training providers face. Attracting students is expensive, time consuming, getting harder, and ultimately the lifeblood of any training organisation. Even internal departments focused on their own staff need ways to attract and entice participants. In our conversations, we’d often hear something along the lines of “…We know this isn’t your problem, and your product saves us a lot of time and money, but it would be great if you could get us more students!”
We asked ourselves if we could help in this area? And after taking a good hard look at Administrate’s existing marketing functionality, we felt the answer was clear: Yes we could!
Introducing a New Marketing System for Administrate
Over the past month we’ve been hard at work on a greatly enhanced marketing system that will help our customers win new
business. We’ve had the ability to manage customer relationships and build simple marketing lists for quite some time – you can even export them to MailChimp for use in email campaigns, but it wasn’t enough, and there were several major gaps. We’re really excited about the work we’ve done and proud to release a tool we believe will really help clients save time and attract more students to their offerings in the future.
We had several goals for this project:
Make it easy, for everyone, (including non techies or those unfamiliar with marketing) to create, run and measure effective marketing campaigns.
Play well with external tools through integrations. From the beginning, we really wanted to make this a system which could be enhanced by integrations with external tools so it fits seamlessly into your existing or future plans.
Support both Inbound and Outbound Marketing. Inbound meaning leads coming in and finding you via search engine, social media, etc. Outbound meaning email lists or ads sent to prospects. We want to make sure we’re great for both.
Provide useful metrics to give great visibility into campaigns. If you spent £100, did it generate 2 bookings worth £500? Our new reports will tell you this and more.
Support your online presence, outside of Administrate. You won’t need to change your website or other online properties to use these tools!
Provide resources and education. We will help our customers and guide them on how to conduct successful marketing campaigns using Administrate.
